Pedal Power hits the Orbital in Swindon!!

A big thank you to the Orbital Shopping Centre who hosted Wise Employment for the “Pedalling for Precious Lives” challenge to raise monies for Children’s Hospice South West. Alex Bobbin, Emma Hunt from the Swindon branch of Wise Employment and two of the Head Office team, Sharon Cox and Gemma Peet all took their turn on the bike to clock up an extra 46 miles and raised a further £43.30.

A lady read the article in the Swindon Advertiser and made her way down to the Orbital to put a mile on the clock and to give a £20.00 donation. Her picture is below but, unfortunately, we do not have her name. A personal thank you for all your efforts!!

The challenge has been to pedal 2,500 miles and raise £5,000 with the bike touring the whole of the branch network. So far, the Wise Recruitment Group has raised £4,767.55 and pedalled 1,857.5 miles.

Chris Dyble, Sales Manager of Wise Employment in Swindon said “We really need your help! We need to pedal a further 642.5 miles to achieve the target of 2,500 miles.
